"The HTTP 404 Not Found Error means that the webpage you were trying to reach could not be found on the server. It is a Client-side Errorwhich means that either the page has been removed or moved and the URL was not changed accordingly, or that you typed in the URL incorrectly." If you have 404 error returns you can set it up in your dashboard (Cpanel or whatever you use) to redirect that URL to one that is good.

How can I find 404 errors if my site is very big?
As you can find many broken link checker/dead link checker tool online but among all l'll recommend you to go google.

You can check it at Google Search Console formerly Google Webmaster Tool and Google Analytics.

Google Search Console: Crawl→ Crawl Errors
GA: Behavior → Site Content → Content Drilldown

Hope it will help you!

Thanks,
Wrig Mark

Generally you don’t need to worry about “broken links” like this hurting your site. 404s are a perfectly normal part of the web; the Internet is always changing, new content is born, old content dies, and when it dies it (ideally) returns a 404 response code. Search engines are aware of this; we have 404 errors on our own sites, as you can see above, and we find them all over the web.

agree with you when bot can not find any thing on page (Error 404) so that page automatically got out of search after some time. It is Natural that website have 404 page but better it should be redirect accordingly if u want
